Spirit qualify for GG.BET Majestic

Spirit have defeated AVANGAR 2-0 in the grand final of the GG.BET Majestic CIS Closed Qualifier, booking their place at the event where a spot at ESL One Cologne will be on the line.

Spirit arrived at the grand final of the CIS Closed Qualifier after beating Vega Squadron 2-0 in the semis. AVANGAR became Spirit's opponents by defeating pro100 2-1 in the previous round.

The grand final kicked off on AVANGAR's map pick Mirage but the Kazakhstanis were a no-show, losing the first half 14-1. Spirit were swift and closed it out with a 16-2 final scoreline.

Spirit will have a chance to qualify for ESL One Cologne

Dust2 was next and it was almost as one-sided as the first map. Vadim "⁠DavCost⁠" Vasilyev & company started on the T-side and ended the half with a 12-3 lead. They went on to win the map 16-6, wrapping up the series 2-0 and qualifying for GG.BET Majestic.

As North and Gambit have already qualified for ESL One Cologne, they will not participate in GG.BET Majestic and their invitations will be given to two other teams.
